The Agri-Fab Rough Cut Mower features a 14.5hp Briggs & Stratton engine with electric start. The 42" cutting deck has chains on the front of the mower to prevent material from flying forward while cutting. The cutting deck height can be easily adjusted from 1.5" (3.8cm) to 5" (12.7cm). Dual 5.5lb. break-away blades are designed to break back when striking an immovable object, giving protection to the cutter drive system and allowing the engine to keep on running without stalling.
This mower has a swivel hitch point and will offset from 0" to 23" allowing you to cut a full 42" path while the towing vehicle drives down a clean cut path, parallel to the mower. No tools are required to offset the mower making it easy to re-position when going through gates, shed doors or mowing in tight spaces.
They are designed for use behind various types of vehicles and work especially well behind ATV and UTV style machines, but can also be towed by a suitable garden tractor providing it has the towing capacity.
With all tow vehicles it is important you check with the manufacturers recommendations on towing capacity and weight limits on towing before attaching any trailed implement.
