Designed for large-scale domestic and semi-professional use, the XL500 provides petrol power and freedom. The mower uses an easy start Honda engine for continuous use on slopes up to 35 degrees. Hover mowers use an impeller above the spinning blade to drive air downwards, thereby creating an air cushion that lifts the mower off the ground like a hovercraft, so that the operator can then easily manoeuvre the mower as it floats over the grass.
