The History of Casterbridge Garden Machinery Casterbridge Mowers was established over 35 years ago by John Fisher, being passed on to Max Bugler when he retired in the late 1960s. Max held the reins until Tony Redward, previously workshop manager at Somerset Council, then 15 years as sales manager at Penn Mill Motor Mowers, took over the sales side of the business in 1997, changing the name to Casterbridge Garden Machinery and leaving Max to concentrate on the workshop and repairs. Max himself retired in 2000, and we merged together under one name. About This Website The website hopefully provides our customers some idea of the range of machines we sell and service. It has been designed to be quick-loading and easy to use. The pictures have been taken from manufacturers brochures and then cleaned and tidied up. It took a LONG time - like every evening after work. Any feedback, good or bad, would be appreciated. Tell us what you think of our site. Thanks for looking - Andrew. |
