Designed for smaller gardens, the 1228M is very manoeuverable, even in the most restricted areas. The 12.5hp Briggs & Stratton engine has more than enough power to cope with all working conditions.

The 5-speed manual transmission features a 'soft start' clutch mechanism for smooth drive engagement. Grass clippings are discharged to the rear of the machine directly into the 170 litre collector which can be emptied from the driving position. An audible alarm notifies the operator when the collector is full and resets automatically when it has been emptied.

The deck is fitted with a high lift blade capable of collecting wet leaves and pine needles. Also mounted on the deck is a hosepipe connection for easy cleaning once you've finished. All the controls are easy to reach from the adjustable, high back seat.
