Suitable for areas up to 2 acres, the 1438M SD is the ideal machine for those who don't want to collect the grass cuttings. For thick or tall grass up to 8" the side discharge mode will cut and spread the grass, allowing it to wilt naturally. If cutting an area more regularly, the mulch function can be used to cut and re-cut the clippings into small particles that disappear down into the lawn returning valuable nutrients to the soil.
