The Mountfield 1840H is suitable for cutting large areas up to 3 acres and features the highly efficient 40" 'ContraFlo' cut and collect system. The deck floats smoothly over the ground on anti-scalp wheels giving a high quality of finish and collection. Grass is cut and then ejected at high velocity into the 320 litre capacity collector in one smooth operation. When conditions are suitable, collection of grass clippings can be eliminated with the fitting of an optional mulch plug.

Pedals and control levers are ergononically placed within easy reach of the adjustable comfort seat. An audible alarm sounds when the grass collector is full; it can be emptied without leaving the driving seat.
