Fully articulated steering on the 4000 series models combined with a front mounted cutter deck provides unrivalled control and visibility. The 4155H 4WD features a 15.5hp engine and Four Wheel Drive hydrostatic transmission for coping with wet, slippery slopes. Two hydrostatic transmissions are powered by a common oil pump; they transfer power to differentials which operate four wheels of equal size.
By combining this system with steering through the articulated chassis, this is a 4WD system that doesn't chew up the ground, even when driven enthusiastically.
The deck comprises two overlapping, contra-rotating blades that cut and re-cut the grass clippings until they are small enough to be blown back into the turf, returning valuable nutrients to the soil. |
