The Manor 55R tiller is powered by a reliable Briggs & Stratton engine with recoil start and electronic ignition for trouble free starting.
A tried and tested belt drive transmits power from the engine to a fully sealed, maintenance free gearbox. Power is then routed via a sealed chain drive to four sets of 13" diameter heavy duty steel cultivating rotors, which provide a 24" working width, extendable to 36" with the optional tine set. For inter-row cultivation, the outer sets of rotors can be removed, and using crop protection discs will safeguard your plants.
This machine is equipped with a reverse drive - ideal if you have awkward corners to cope with.
The two transport wheels hinge into a storage position when the tiller is in use. An adjustable depth skid controls the level of cultivation, from light surface tilling through to full depth digging.
Fully adjustable handlebars ensure a comfortable working position for the operator and can be placed in an offset position in order to avoid walking on cultivated soil. The handlebars are easy to remove where storage space is at a premium.
